I would give this a 4.5 if amazon reviews had half stars. This is a really swank bag. Real leather. Smells so good, and aged like wine. High quality. Lasting leather. Really nice. Very good, very high quality stuff. But the strap, that's the weakest link. Literally, the little clasp that holds the strap to the bag, that thing is cheap and flaky and can sometimes come off. Sending your expensive leather bag flying. That bag, you know, where your expensive laptop, tablet, or other electronic item probably is. Flying across the street, into the path of an oncoming city bus. Not cool. But yeah, other than that, this bag is really pretty awesome. I would say, just go to Home Depot and invest in some upgraded hardware for the strap so it can't come undone, and this bag will last you forever. Or at least until the zombie apocalypse. I mean, sure the BAG will survive that. But not you. You won't last long during the zombie apocalypse, you silly, entitled, gadget freak with far more money than common sense. I mean, seriously, you think Rick Grimes would carry a bag like this? Really?

Our History
Timberland's history began in 1952, when founder Nathan Swartz bought a half interest in the Abington Shoe Company. Three years later, he bought the remaining interest and welcomed his sons into the Company, manufacturing private label shoes for leading brand manufacturers. In 1973, the Swartz family began manufacturing its first guaranteed waterproof leather boots and shoes under the Timberland brand name, and in 1978, they changed the name of the company to The Timberland Company.
